Certain situations require specialised knowledge to ensure the right type of care is being provided for those who are vulnerable and most in need. Depending on the availability of suitably trained and experienced carers registered with the Care Quality Commission (or equivalent national bodies), we can provide specialist services in the following areas:
Dementia Patients
The care and understanding required for dementia patients can differ on a daily basis. Our specialised staff are trained to adapt their approach and show flexibility in accordance to the patients’ needs to make them feel comfortable in their environment.
Mental Health
Providing care for mental health patients comes with its own set of unique challenges. Which is why we have specialised carers to provide support for those suffering with mental health problems, including those subject to Guardianship and Supervision orders under the Mental Health Act.
Learning Disabilities
We aim to get to know the strengths of each individual and really understand the areas in which care is most needed in order to harness independence where possible. In particular where children are involved, we will work closely with their families to gain a fuller sense of the individual.
Special Care Needs
We have specialised carers trained to help those with sensory loss or dual sensory impairment.
Multi Lingual
We can provide carers who are fluent in native languages and where English is not the mother tongue. We have carers who are fluent in Punjabi, Urdu, Swahili and a number of other languages. One of the things we specialise in, is providing a high level of care, whilst still being mindful of any cultural or religious nuances that may exist.
